Perhaps the most popular is the polished brass door knocker when it comes to finishes.
The surface of the casting's natural brass gold tone is machine buffed and hand polished to a bright shiny mirror-like surface.
This highly reflective surface is perfect for engraving. The soft brass surface cuts readily allowing the cutter to create crisp lines that stands out very well. The shiny surface provides the engraving to create plenty of contrast with the light reflecting from each cut.
There is no plating involved with our polished brass. A clear lacquer coating is applied to protect the finish.
A bright polished brass door knocker will go with most decors and blend in with most colors and designs. When polished brass will not work select from one of our other finishes.
