Sometimes called Brushed Brass, the surface of the casting's natural brass gold tone is machine buffed smooth and hand polished.

An abrasive media is used to dull the surface and create a horizontal grain to the surface.

This surface is provides great contrast for engraving. The engraving creates bright lines that reflect well on the non reflective satin surface.

There is no plating involved with our satin brass. You see the actual surface of the casting.
